Leveling is important and here's why.

It is quite common for a mobile home to shift once it has been placed. The soil becomes soft and the piers start to sink into the ground. Most of the time it is caused by water finding its way underneath the mobile home. Mobile home come out of level for a variety of reasons, it may be caused by failure to compact the ground properly before setting the home. Hoses drip, drainage slopes the wrong way channeling water under the mobile home and pipes underneath the home leak as well.

What happens when your home is not structurally sound?
  • Cabinet doors may no longer close.
  • Doors and windows may no longer close and open normally.
  • Water on your floors or counter tops will run to one side.
  • Cracks will develop in your ceiling and walls.
  • Skirting will buckle and break.
  • Floors squeak.
  • Anchor straps will become loose.
